I personally believe the most democratic voting system is in fact not the system of the "most democratic" United States but the majority vote we use in Canada. This doesn't seem fair to the Newfoundlanders who were voting for a candidate based on their personal needs. This system is indeed fair since the seats of the House of Commons are delegated by the population in each province; this ensures that a place like Newfoundland will have representatives for their point of view.
