sink was silver stain-less steal that had rust stains from the water dripping. The drain was

yellow daises. The window was missing the glass, the frame was chipping away, and the seel of
the window was dusty and filled with dead and alive ants. Next to the cabinets was the door to
the backyard, It was already opened so I just peaked my head through the silver rusted screen
door that couldnt close. The yard was filled with dog mess, in the right corner was a red beat-up
wooden dog house with the paint chipping and holes in the roof. Inside of the dog house was a
female rust colored dog with matted hair that looked like she never been combed or brushed.
The fence that gated the yard was falling down on one side and the other side had a whole in it
that lead to the neighbors yard. The door of the fence was tied close with a green close line. I
was mad to see the dog living that way. As I stepped back to close the door, I cringed with
Disappointment, I put my hand in something gooey. When I shut the door I realized that the
gooey stuff was egg yok that was smeared on the back of the door. I flung the egg yok on the
floor and whipped my hands on the damp mildew smelling dish towel that was draped over the
sink. On the wall that was across from the stove was another window that was a long rectangular
shape. Lined alone the window seel was old sticky jars of jellys and jams and empty egg
shells. The wall surrounding the window was covered in green and cream wallpaper also. By this
time I was ready to leave, but I had to be noisy and look in the olive green refrigerator that set in

opened it any way. After opening it I knew it was time to go, roaches were falling out of the
selves on the door, the bottom selves had old blood from meat sitting there. The refrigerator

filled with water that had roaches floating in it. The freezer smelled like old meat and garbage. I
closed the refrigerator and walked out the kitchen, through the dinning room, through the living
